Written for Andrew Sterman for premiere on May 13, 2005 in New York City. Loosely based on the number thirteen, Ten Thirteenths, is a short introductory composition, designed as an exuberent program opener. It allows room for a certain amount of personal expression by the tenor saxophonist. Offered here as a gift to my fans.
